Day 1 (ARRIVAL- CAIRO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - CAIRO)
Arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met & transferred to your hotel for O/N.
Day 2 (CAIRO TOUR –EGYPTIAN MUSEUM – PYRAMIDS – SPHINX – ROYAL BURIAL CHAMBER – PAPYRUS & PERFUMES SHOPS – TRAIN TO LUXOR )
After breakfast, we will start our full day tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. You can enjoy mummies, sarcophagi, pottery, and jewelers and of course King Tutankhamen's treasures. King Tut's goodies include his socks, underwear and the boy-king's death-mask made of solid gold, described as the most beautiful object ever made. Then we will proceed to the Pyramids of Giza. There are three main Pyramids here, which were built in the 4th Dynasty (circa 4650 B.C). The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt were built as tombs for Kings (and Queens), and it was the exclusive privilege to have a Pyramid tomb. However, this tradition only applied in the Old and Middle Kingdoms. Today there are more than 93 Pyramids in Egypt; the most famous ones are those at Giza.
Nearby is The Lord of Sphinx. Then we will visit theRoyal Burial Chamber, after which we will head to the Papyrus & Perfumes shops are among our program of today. Here are examples of most of the papyrus art that I acquired in Egypt. Some of the art used gilded (gold/silver) paint, which didn't scan well, but at least you'll get the idea as to what they look like.In the afternoon, direct transfer to the train station for sleeperTrain Cairo/ Luxor.

Day 3 (LUXOR – VALLEY OF KINGS & QUEENS – HATSHEPSUT TEMPLE)
After breakfast on train, arrive to Luxor for a tour of the Valley of Kings & Queens. The first king of the New Kingdom, Ahmose of the 18th Dynasty, built a pyramid-like structure at Abydos, which may or may not have been his original tomb the Valley, known as Biban el-Muluk, "doorway or gateway of the kings," or, the Wadyein, meaning "the two valleys," is actually composed of two separate branches. The main eastern branch, called ta set aat, or "The Great Place," is where most of the royal tombs are located.
Then we will visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut is one of the most dramatically situated in the world. The Queen’s architect, Senenmut, designed it and set it at the head of a valley overshadowed by the Peak of the Thebes, the "Lover of Silence," where lived the goddess who presided over the necropolis. Free afternoon. O/N at the selected hotel in Luxor.
Day 4 (KERNAK TEMPLE – LUXOR TEMPLE- LUXOR CAIRO TRAIN)
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, half day tours visiting Kernak Temple. This great Temple of Amon Ra was known during the Middle Kingdom period as Ipt-Swt, which means the Selected Spot. Then visittheTemple of Luxor which is among the most beautiful Temples in Egypt. It was known in the New Kingdom period as Ipt-Rsyt, which means the southern shrine. This was to differentiate between this Temple and Karnak Temple, which was the northern house of Amon Ra. Amenhotep III built Luxor Temple. The Temple run close and parallel to the river Nile from north to south, it was constructed on the site of a small Temple of Amon, built by kings of the 12th dynasty. Direct transfer with your representative to LuxorStation for sleeper train Luxor/ Cairo. Overnight on board train.
Day 5 (CAIRO – OLD CAIRO – BEN ERZA SYNAGOGUE – SAINT SERGIOUS CHURCH – KHAN EL-KHALILI)
Arrive Cairo station, meet by your Tours representative then direct transfer to your hotel to drop languages with some rest, then your Egyptologist will guide you for a full day tour visiting Old Cairo. The Hanging Church derives its name from its location on top of the southern tower gate of the old Babylon fortress; it is the most famous Coptic Christian church in Cairo. Then to Ben Ezra Synagogue whichis believed that the site of the Synagogue was where the box of Baby Moses was found in theEncyclopaedia Britannica. Saint Sergius church will be our next stop. This church was originally built in 684 AD by a wealthy scribe named Athanasius, also credited with the building of the St Cyrus and St John Church. The St George Church burned down over a hundred years ago, leaving only a large wedding hall (Qaat el Irsan). Then we will visitKhan El-Khalili Bazaar. It's an ancient shopping area.The suq (which is the Arabic name for bazaar, or market) dating back to 1382. Return to hotel in Cairo for O/N.
Day 6 (DEPARTURE)
Meet by your Tour representative who will escort you to Cairo International Airport, assisting you through Airport check-in and Customs procedures for final departure. A combined tour with Jordan is possible, before or after tour.
