Day 1 (ARRIVAL- CAIRO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - CAIRO)

Arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met & transferred to your hotel for O/N.

Day 2 (CAIRO TOUR – MEMPHIS – SAKARA – THE PYRAMIDS – SPHINX – PAPYRUS & PERFUMES SHOPS – DINNER CRUISE )

After breakfast, be prepared for a full day tour visiting Memphis. Near the remains of Memphis stands the Alabaster Sphinx was carved in honor of an unknown Pharaoh most likely during the eighteenth dynasty, between 1700 and 1400 BC. Then Sakkara which is one of the most extensive Archaeological sites in Egypt! It was the cemetery for Memphis, the capital of Ancient Egypt. The site dates back to 2700 BC.

The Pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the main part of a complex setting of buildings that included two mortuary temples in honor of Khufu, three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, an even smaller "satellite" pyramid, a raised causeway connecting the two temples, and small Mastaba tombs surrounding the pyramid for nobles.

Nearby is Sphinx. The Sphinxes of Egypt are mythical creatures, seen as guardians in the Egyptian statuary depicted in one of these three forms: Androsphinx - body of lion with head of person; Criosphinx - body of lion with head of ram; Hierocosphinx - body of lion with head of falcon or hawk. Papyrus & Perfumes shops are among our program of today. Here are examples of most of the papyrus art that I acquired in Egypt. Some of the art used gilded (gold/silver) paint, which didn't scan well, but at least you'll get the idea as to what they look like. In the afternoon, transfer for dinner cruise with belly dancer show. Return to hotel for O/N.

Day 3 (CAIRO TOUR – EGYPTIAN MUSEUM – CITADEL – KHAN EL-KHALILI )

After breakfast we will start our day with a fascinating Tour of 7,000 years of this famous museum house the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts (more than 145,000 items on display). Then we visit the Citadel which stands proudly on the highest point inside the courtyard of the Citadel of Saladin, and is also called the Alabaster Mosque. Khan El-Khalili Bazaar will be our next stop. It's an ancient shopping area. The suq (which is the Arabic name for bazaar, or market) dating back to 1382. Return to hotel in Cairo for O/N.

Day 4 (DEPARTURE)

Meet by your Tour representative who will escort you to Cairo International Airport, assisting you through Airport check-in and Customs procedures for final departure.  A combined tour with Jordan is possible, before or after the tour.
